Young adults’ perceptions ranked countries primarily in Asia with less established but promising economies as the best countries to study in, even though historical trends show the United States and the United Kingdom to be the countries that attract the most international students each year studying.
The Best Countries to Study Abroad ranking is derived from a survey that is based on global perceptions. Countries are ranked based on scores that are compiled from a compilation of five equally weighted country attributes. These attributes are: culturally accessible, fun, has many cultural attractions, would consider attending university there, and a country that provides top-quality education with the best education dissertation topics each year. In all, almost 6,500 adults aged 35 and under participated in the surveying process for the 2021 best countries rankings.
